Video Presentación - Murillo.

Welcome everybody, I’m going to review my activity, Murillo, the North Pearl, for the presentación.

Instructions: The apprentice must make a video where they describe a place they know or want to know. Including vocabulary from formation material and various sources. You can include images and videos of the place.

For the last couple of years, I’ve desired to travel around Colombia to learn about the landscapes and local gastronomy. With this activity, I can show you one of my places from my wishlist.

Murillo township is located in Tolima, Colombia, it’s known as the North Pearl and is over 3000 meters above sea level. The weather is cold, foggy, and rainy, and it has beautiful landscapes. 

In the video 's script, I wrote about three places that I’d like to visit: Los termales La Cabaña, El valle de Los Frailejones and la cascada La Estación.

I remember that I found Los termales with an Instagram account, @murillo_adventure. They promote every recreational activity in Murillo township, and when I saw the water from los termales in a reel, I was amused. Immediately, I scheduled a swimming trip in my mind.

On the other hand, El valle de Los Frailejones should be a required trip for every Colombian. Los Frailejones are the most important plants for the production of 70% of the country's water. Understanding the value and the ecosystem of this plant could make a difference in its conservation. 

Lastly, La cascada La Estación is a relaxed plan with family and friends. It's the kind of adventure of taking a cold bath, taking pictures, and sitting down for a warm snack like agua de panela with cheese. 

In conclusion, it was good practice to learn new vocabulary and expressions about places and traveling.
